Mike Cupps Acme Mowersports
Mike Cupps founded Acme Mowersports. He started the company as a racer for the racers, trying to offer merchandise at a cheaper rate to help fellow racers out. Acme was his baby. He had a full time job and Acme was a side job. When Mike passed away on March 6, 2010, Chris Curry (the new owner) was a fellow racer of Mike, a good friend, and thought of Mike as a brother. He felt the way he could best honor Mike, was to keep Acme Mowersports up and running. This has not been an easy task as Chris works a full time job as well. It has been a slow process, and we are still learning. We enjoy talking to all the racers that place orders, call with questions, etc. Chris races, his wife Sheri Jones races and their son, Derek Jones, races as well. They got into racing when Derek first raced when he was 13 yrs old and since then, they started racing. Phone hours are 9am-6pm CST Monday - Friday, and 9am-3pm on Saturdays (unless we are racing.)
